Dr. Mazen Noureddin is an internationally recognized hepatologist and a leading authority in fatty liver disease (NAFLD/NASH). Before founding the Houston Liver Institute and Houston Research Institute, he directed the Fatty Liver Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles—ranked among the top gastrointestinal programs in the nation.

Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in hepatology, and clinical research. Serves as Sub-Investigator at Houston Research Institute, integrating patient care and research to advance liver disease treatment.

Board-certified Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in hepatology, gastroenterology, oncology, and transplant medicine. Skilled in managing complex liver and GI disorders, providing both inpatient and outpatient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.

Jennifer is Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in hepatology, chronic disease management, preventive care, and acute care, including the management of fatty liver disease and cirrhosis. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and brings a diverse clinical background in hepatology, primary care, dialysis, hospice, and women’s health. Jennifer is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care that empowers patients to better understand and manage their liver health.

Provides experienced healthcare operations and executive professional supporting hepatology, clinical research, and multi-site operations. Leads clinical and facility operations with a focus on quality, collaboration, and staff development while ensuring seamless coordination between patient care and research initiatives.

Provides strategic and operational guidance and  support to drive efficient practice management, team collaboration, and organizational growth while ensuring alignment across clinical, administrative, and research operations..

Supports our providers and clinic with seamless, patient-focused care. Plays a key role in coordinating visits, preparing patients, and maintaining an efficient, welcoming environment.

Greets patients with warmth and professionalism while coordinating daily front desk operations. Manages scheduling, check-ins, and communications to ensure each patient’s experience is smooth, efficient, and welcoming.
